TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALES AND RMA
SPECIAL ORDERS
Any orders on items that are non-stocked are considered Special Orders.
Cost: Prices are subject to change without notice. Clerical errors are not binding and may be corrected by ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. at any time after discovery.
Order: $100.00 minimum order for each invoice required. A $10.00 handling fee will be charged if order is lower than $100.00
Payment : Delinquent accounts will be subject to a 30% APR finance charge (0.083% per day) plus collection and legal costs if incurred. A $35.00 fee will be applied to all returned checks.
Delivery : Unless otherwise noted, delivery will be made F.O.B. ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. (continuing on these terms and conditions of sales as ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc.) to be paid by purchaser. Risk of loss passes to purchaser upon delivery by ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. to common carrier. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together due to availability. We will confirm first before shipment if backorders or substitutes are acceptable. Drop ship orders will be charged a $5.00 handling fee.
Service & Support : If you have any problems with a product you have purchased from ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. please contact our technical support/RMA Dept. before deciding to return the product. If no solution is reached, a RMA number will be issued. In the event that you receive damages during shipment, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of order to receive RMA number.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy:
- Please consult our experienced technical support staff prior to requesting a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Please download the RMA Request Form from our web site www.ALARMCCTV.com . Fill it out and fax back to (510) 887-1688. Our RMA department staff will reply you by email or phone call for your RMA number.
- No returned merchandise will be accepted without a valid Alarm CCTV Distribution, Inc. RMA number.
- RMA number is valid for 10 business days from the issued date.
- All merchandise must be returned within 15 days from the date of invoice. After fifteen (15) days, buyer is allowed merchandise exchange only. Alarm CCTV Distribution, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any merchandise back for credit.
- In order to obtain full credit refund, all items must be shipped back to Alarm CCTV Distribution, Inc. within two (2) weeks from the invoice date, in original condition. After two (2) weeks all returns are subject to a 25% minimum re-stocking fee or more. Please refer to the manufacturer’s re-stocking fee policy. All Special orders are “ Absolutely non-refundable and non-returnable and there is a mandatory 50% deposit of the sales order total.
- ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. reserves the right not to replace product until the replacement is returned from Manufacturer/Vendor.
- All returned merchandise must be shipped back to our address within 7 days from the date of RMA, enclosed with a copy of the invoice and RMA number clearly marked on the mailing label.
- “No Fault Found” RMA items can be retuned for credit with a 35% minimum re-stocking fee and ship back at purchaser’s expense.
- Any material not received in re-salable condition will not be credited and will be returned to the customer at the purchaser’s expense.
- Returned merchandise must include all original materials including but not limited to mounting brackets, screws, instructional manual, box sticker, product sticker, cable sticker, original box packaging, and miscellaneous accessories.
- Cross-shipment is allowed for pre-paid. We will ship the return item back after repair. No credit will be applied for any cross-shipment package and repaired items. RMA items will be repaired or replaced at Alarm CCTV Distribution, Inc.’s discretion.
- Warranty Repair : Details of all return parts and components must be written clearly in the RMA Request Form. We only return repaired parts and components of whatever we received.
Limitation of Liability : ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION will not be responsible for consequential damage to the system or its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed or obtained from ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces due to physical abuse, excessive use, liquids, chemicals spilled upon or inside the components including oxidation or corrosion to components caused by exposure to salt air.
Customer understands all equipments purchased are under the local government code.
The limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as result of:
- Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
- Misuse, neglect or improper environment.
- Any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options/parts by anyone other than an ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION authorized service center, excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.
Manufacturer’s Warranties : ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. will assist dealers in the repair or return of products covered under the warranty upon request. ALARM CCTV DISTRIBUTION, Inc. in no way claims responsibility for these products or their warranties.
Legal Costs : The undersigned agrees to pay all invoices within the terms of the sale and further agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees necessary to collect past due amounts.
